dc.description | Wooden medicine chest containing various bottles of medince and paraphernalia. Some bottles have the label of an Augusta, Georgia druggist while the remaining bottles have the label of different Mobile, Alabama druggists. Inside lid is lined with velet. The lid has a latch which does not work and there is keyhole, but there is no key. The lid of the chest has an inlaid decorative medal plate engraved "McGran 1845."
