This research focuses on how the health care system one is used to using effects ones ability to seek and receive care in another System. Specific examples used within the study are the Western Medical System, The Traditional Chinese Medical System, and African American Root medicine. The study was done with interviews to health care providers and with surveys to citizens of the Augusta area. Unfortunately the data collected proved inconclusive with regards to the research question. However it did reveal a great deal of information about the patient population in the area, namely the tendency to remain with a single system with regards to health and the role of financial constraints in choice of healthcare system.en_US
