dc.descriptionA cloth book of single aortic valve prosthetic leaflets. On the cover, "Muller-Littlefield Aortic Valve Leaflets Book" is written. On the inside, there are three aortic valve prosthetic leaflets sewn on the right half: one leaflet on the top row and two leaflets on the bottom row. There are places for four leaflets, but one has been lost. According to the exhibit card, these single aortic valve prosthetic leaflets were circa 1958-1960. They were designed by Dr. Bahnson at John Hopkins. They were used at the Medical College of Georgia. Dimensions are: 7.5" W x 10.25" L; weight: 3.0 oz.
