    Description
An electronic stethoscope that is approximately 19.25 inches in length. The top part is made of black rubber and is curved into two openings for probably attaching to ear pieces. The two rubber openings fuse into one piece and moves down to connect to a black cylindrical metal piece that is approx. 4.25 inches in length and approx. 1.5 inches in diameter. This cylindrical piece has controls for frequency and for turning the stethoscope on and off switch. When the stethoscope is turned on, it has three settings indicated by onedot, two dots, and three dots. On the front, there is a black label with silver writing. The stethoscope is titled the "Cardiologist". It also has the names of two physicians: C. A. Hufnagel, M.D. and J. F. Gillespie, M.D. The label lists "Cefaly Research Corp." in "Brentwood, MD". It appears that the serial number has been removed. The label points downward to the "binaural end" where a rubber tube is connected and moves downward to the circular stethoscope portion. The diameter of this circular piece is approximately 1.75 inches. The underside part feels like plastic and is clear and colorless. The top part is metal and black in color. Below it is a silver stethoscope portion. NOTE: According to the exhibit card, this electronic stethoscope is circa 1960s. It was given to Dr. Robert Ellison. Dimensions are: 19.25" L x 1.5" Diameter; weight:
