Description
A rectangular glass container containing a human heart covered with preservative. The preservative is a reddish orange color. The heart has been dissected, and part of the muscle in the front has been cut out. From the front of the heart, the right atrium and right ventricle are seen. Chordae tendinae which look like strings are seen; They attach the mitral valve in the right atrium to the right ventricular wall. From the back, the aorta is seen. Dimensions of the container are 6.5" H x 3.15" W x 3.9" L; weight: 3 lb, 1.14 oz.Collections
