AbstractORCID iDs (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) provide authors with an international digital identifier to aid in maintaining a professional record of scholarly activities. The University Libraries sought to enhance the University’s information infrastructure through the integration of ORCID identifiers in key systems, including the institution’s digital repository, Scholarly Commons, and the PeopleSoft Human Resources Management System (HRMS).
