Abstract
2.12 Space Policy: Physical space at Georgia Health Sciences University is a valuable institutional resource that must be managed carefully and used efficiently. Space is allocated to individual units through the campus physical master plan to serve and support the programmatic goals outlined in the institution’s mission and strategic plan. When units vacate space as a result of either a move into a new building or renovations to existing buildings, responsibility for reallocation of the vacant space resides in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs & Provost.Likewise, the Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs & Provost can initiate space changes in accordance with institutional priorities.Affiliation
