Heritage Unit News August 2019Reese Library's Special Collections MSS 025 (Cumming family correspondence) contains letters written by Thomas Cumming that date as far back as 1794. Greenblatt Library: Curtis G. Hames, Sr., M.D. was a native and life-long resident of Claxton, Georgia. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1944.

Heritage Unit News July 2020Greenblatt Library: A Manual: Obstetrics by A.F.A. King, MD, published in 1889. The book belonged to Robert L. Miller, MD, who graduated from MCG in 1891. Reese Library: Rare copies of classic works of poetry and prose, such as John Milton's Paradise Lost.
