9.0100 Policy for Care & Use of Animals in Research: Overview: All uses of invertebrate and vertebrate animals in research and education at Georgia Health Sciences University must be approved by the Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee (IACUC) at Georgia Health Sciences University. Any use of animals at Georgia Health Sciences University without IACUC approval is a violation of Medical College of Georgia policy as v.ell as federal law.
